Jens Quistgaard for Dansk Teak Buffet

This restored vintage teak buffet by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk has it all.  Beautiful Danish construction with solid teak edges and drawer pulls, liquor cabinet with mirrored back panel, fold down desk with 5 small felt lined drawers and shelf storage.  The 3 sliding doors with integrated teak finger holes reveal open storage on the far right and storage with a shelf on the left.  The piece float on a gracefully sculpted base with stout, solid teak legs.  It would work well in a kitchen or dining room for china storage, in an office as a desk and credenza or as a stealthy bar that could store liquor, wine and glassware.  The beautifully figured teak will command attention in any room.

This piece has just been completely stripped, sanded and refinished and other than a few minor flaws looks nearly new.  It is a rare and special piece.
